Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (TX SLP License)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; will also consider candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- School-based SLP experience or strong interest in pediatrics and educational settings
- Ability to manage K-12 student caseload with flexibility and organization
- Outstanding communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in speech-language pathology
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions to students in grades K-12
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and staff to monitor student progress
- Document therapy sessions, maintain student records, and contribute to progress reporting
- Provide guidance and resources that build communication skills across diverse student backgrounds
Enjoy a school calendar position with a meaningful impact, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week throughout the academic year. Compensation is $50 per hour, with payment and benefits managed directly by the school district upon hire.
