Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working within school environments, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Commitment to cultural competence and student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for referred students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech-language intervention to elementary students, adapting methods as needed
- Provide makeup therapy sessions, ensuring continuity of care for students who may have missed services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student growth
- Maintain detailed records and document student progress in compliance with school policies
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, demonstrating advocacy for student needs
