School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | West Chester, Pennsylvania

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students through dedicated onsite services in the greater Chester area. This full-time position offers three distinct openings, each focusing on an individual caseload: elementary, middle school (grades 6-8), and high school. Your impact will help shape students’ communication and physical development during the academic year.
This position is tailored for individuals with a passion for creating positive change in urban schools. The district values an onsite presence to foster direct connections with students and colleagues.
Key Qualifications:
- Current PA clearances or ability to obtain all required clearances
- Prior experience in a school setting (SLP or PT)
- Comfortable with onsite, urban school environment
- Experience supporting K-12 students, with openness to specified age groups
- Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
- Ability to work the schedule of 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no schedule accommodations
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapeutic services to your assigned caseload (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and other therapists
- Complete documentation and progress reports in accordance with district policies
- Participate in meetings with parents and school teams
- Serve as a responsive resource for students’ speech/language or physical therapy needs
This is an onsite-only assignment, supporting the district’s preference for in-person engagement. The contract will begin as soon as possible and extend through June 10, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
