What you bring:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience delivering services in a school setting, particularly with adolescent populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration skills, partnering with teachers, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication abilities to facilitate student progress and advocate for their needs
- Knowledge of school-based compliance, documentation, and best practices
Your key responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech and language challenges and strengths
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored for middle and high schoolers
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy aligned with IEP goals, tracking progress
- Collaboratively participate in student meetings, parent conferences, and IEP reviews
- Provide strategies, education, and resources for teachers and families to support student development
