Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children; pediatric and school-based backgrounds highly valued
- Strong evaluation, intervention, and documentation skills
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, counselors, parents)
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions
- Maintain clear and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Educate staff and families about supportive strategies and resources for communication development
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and school initiatives
