We are seeking a dedicated professional who holds SLP-CCC credentials to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the academic year, working with a manageable caseload of 37-41 students at a single location.
This contract opportunity offers a full-time, 37.5 hour-per-week schedule, beginning August 13th and concluding June 5th. You’ll collaborate closely with school staff, families, and fellow specialists to foster communication skills that support academic and social success for every student you serve.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, serving K-12th grade populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to building positive relationships with diverse students and school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support students’ academic growth
- Participate in parent conferences, IEP meetings, and professional development
- Provide consultative support to teachers and caregivers to enhance classroom communication strategies
