School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lakeville, Minnesota
Exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school setting near Lakeville, MN. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students, providing essential services for the remainder of the school year with potential summer evaluation responsibilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working in school environments, especially with ECSE populations, strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families in a team-oriented setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students, focusing on individualized goals and documented needs
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations as required, including potential summer evaluations
- Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and stay compliant with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional expertise
- Ensure continuity of care for ECSE students as leave coverage for the primary SLP
- Engage in professional development and keep licensure up to date
This is an on-site, full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week) starting as soon as possible and continuing through early June 2026. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment dedicated to student success.
