Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Active state licensure in Minnesota
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood communication development and intervention strategies
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities for collaborating with staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to early childhood students, addressing a variety of needs and disorders
- Administer assessments and participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings
- Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with school, district, and state guidelines
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Support and advise educators and caregivers on strategies to enhance students’ speech and language development
- Complete evaluations as needed, including potential summer assessments
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapeutic environment
