Shape the educational journey of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving early childhood students in a welcoming school setting near Eden Prairie, MN. This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated professional to provide essential leave coverage for the ECSE SLP (Early Childhood Special Education Speech-Language Pathologist) from now through the end of the school year, with the potential for additional summer evaluations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working as a school-based SLP strongly preferred
- Previous work with early childhood or preschool populations highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech-language therapy services to students in early childhood special education
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including some possible summer assessments
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to eligibility meetings
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student needs
- Provide expert guidance and interventions to foster student communication development
