Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP license (or eligibility) in Florida
- Experience with early childhood, elementary, or pediatric populations in school settings
- Strong background in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to accommodate students’ varied needs and learning styles
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, families, and support professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ communication abilities using standardized tools and observations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address language, speech, and articulation goals
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services to students in 1:1 and group settings
- Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and administrators to maximize student impact
- Provide guidance and training to school staff on best practices for promoting language growth
