Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for Florida SLP licensure
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings with K-12 students
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to individualized, student-centered approaches
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support
- Maintain detailed, confidential documentation and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support teams
- Consult with staff and provide resources or training as needed
