Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an SLP in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows also considered
- Previous experience working in a school setting is helpful, though not required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities
- Passion for supporting the educational and social development of students with communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor progress toward goals
- Provide guidance for classroom accommodations and instructional strategies
- Assist in staff training related to speech and language topics when needed
