Speech Language Pathologist in Katy, TX

A wonderful opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in the Katy, TX area on a contract basis. You’ll help students enhance their communication skills, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute your expertise in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license in Texas, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to CFY candidates
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult with classroom teachers
- Support students’ functional communication and academic achievement through direct and indirect services
