Speech Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school setting or with early childhood populations is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to early childhood students, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication abilities
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, other therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain and complete required documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Optionally, provide temporary maternity leave coverage for elementary students, supporting continuity of care
