Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with early childhood or Pre-K populations
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary school team
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to Pre-K students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input for student support plans
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of sessions, assessments, and progress
- Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of speech goals in classroom and home settings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere that fosters student growth
