Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current IL state SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFYs are encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly valued
  • Comfort with traveling between multiple sites during the week
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for referred students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students with a variety of needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, reviews, and staff training as needed
