School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elgin, Illinois

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or interest in working with K-8th grade students
- Solid understanding of assessment protocols, IEP development, and documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and devise individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, both individually and in groups, addressing articulation, fluency, language, and pragmatic communication
- Work closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to promote student success and carry over progress
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and required paperwork
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, providing input and advocacy for your students
- Monitor and adjust interventions as needed throughout the full school year (2022–2023)
