Key Qualifications & Skills:
- State certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY; SLPA experience also valued)
- Proven experience working in school-based settings with diverse student needs
- Pediatric expertise and proficiency in healthcare and teletherapy practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy for students in a school environment, both in-person and virtually as applicable
- Develop, monitor, and adjust IEPs targeting students’ individualized communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure coordinated, inclusive strategies that promote student success
- Assess and document student progress, making data-driven decisions to modify intervention plans as necessary
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise toward holistic student support
This contract position offers a flexible part-time schedule (2–3 days per week) and the opportunity to shape young lives right from the early grades. Compensation for this rewarding position ranges between $45–$60 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
