Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL

This part-time contract opportunity, located near Joliet, IL, focuses on children in PreK–2nd grade, working 2–3 days a week. Key Qualifications:
- Active state certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- School-based experience, especially with PreK–2nd grade students
- Strong background in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Expertise in areas such as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, pediatrics, teletherapy, or healthcare settings
- SLPA experience in school or healthcare considered a plus
- Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting students with varied learning needs
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored for students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to encourage inclusive, supportive learning
- Monitor progress, adapting strategies to maximize student growth and success
- Provide both in-person and/or teletherapy services as appropriate
- Foster positive relationships to motivate and empower young learners
This role offers compensation between $45–$60 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
