Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-8th grade students in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through eighth grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain timely documentation on student progress and intervention effectiveness
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support and resources to staff and families regarding communication disorders
