Speech Language Pathologist in Chicago, IL

The school district is looking for a dedicated SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to provide therapy services and collaborate with educators and caregivers. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- Previous experience in a K-8 or school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable providing both direct therapy and consultative services
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions to K-8 students
- Conduct initial assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
