Shape the future of young learners by serving in an early childhood setting as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is perfect for passionate SLPs seeking a flexible schedule while making a lasting difference in students’ communication skills. Work 2.5 days per week (totaling 18 hours) throughout the full school year, fostering the growth and development of preschool-aged children.

In addition to the early childhood part-time position, two full-time elementary coverage roles are also open—cover maternity leaves from August to October and August to December. This is an excellent chance to broaden your professional experience in both early learning and elementary environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure for speech-language pathology (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with early childhood and/or elementary populations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for supporting students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students with varying communication needs
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide consultation and resources for staff on speech and language development
  • Adapt strategies and materials for diverse learners
