Step into a rewarding contract position for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), supporting early learners in an engaging early childhood program. This opportunity offers a part-time schedule—2.5 days per week, totaling 18 hours—and runs for the full school year. You’ll provide essential communication support to young students, utilizing your expertise to help develop foundational speech and language skills.
In addition to the primary part-time opening, there are two full-time roles covering elementary staff leaves of absence—one from August through October, and another from August through December—offering a chance to broaden your experience working with a variety of student age groups.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active SLP-CCC certification
- Experience with early childhood populations strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize caseload and document progress effectively
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to early childhood students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators, families, and related service staff
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and staff about student goals and achievements
- Participate in team meetings and school activities as needed
- Support elementary-aged students as needed during staff leaves
