Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants and experienced SLPs alike
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for New Jersey SLP licensure
- Experience in educational settings and/or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, staff, and other professionals
- Adaptable, compassionate, and resourceful approach to therapy planning and execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student IEP goals
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize positive outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, evaluations, and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Offer guidance and support on communication strategies within the school environment
