Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) in New Jersey
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Experience with diverse school-age populations
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and therapy protocols
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in school settings or pediatric healthcare environments is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver therapy services individually and in group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Develop and update IEP goals, attend meetings, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Document services and maintain accurate records
- Offer guidance and resources to faculty and families for carryover of skills
