Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid or eligible Virginia SLP licensure
- CCC-SLP or CFY status welcomed
- Strength in serving school-aged populations, with excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to manage and adapt to a dynamic caseload environment
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement IEP goals based on current evaluations
- Deliver direct therapy services within school settings
- Use Log Wizard for detailed session logging
- Accurately complete VA Medicaid billing logs (training provided)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for optimal student support
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
