Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid or eligible Virginia SLP licensure
  • CCC-SLP or CFY status welcomed
  • Strength in serving school-aged populations, with excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to manage and adapt to a dynamic caseload environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement IEP goals based on current evaluations
  • Deliver direct therapy services within school settings
  • Use Log Wizard for detailed session logging
  • Accurately complete VA Medicaid billing logs (training provided)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for optimal student support
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
