Key Requirements:
- Hold an active Arkansas Speech Language Pathologist license
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting
- Strong knowledge and application of speech and language assessment and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop student goals and track progress
- Document services provided and maintain compliance with state/local documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Support students’ social and academic development through effective interventions and communication strategies
