- SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) experience within schools is also valued
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide support, resources, and education for families and teachers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations
