Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply
- Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred, but applications from monolingual professionals are welcome
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with SEIS documentation systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility, as itinerant assignments may be included
- Experience addressing a range of needs—from mild to severe disabilities—and proficiency with AAC devices
- California Certificate of Clearance (COC) must be obtained prior to employment
- Commitment to remain onsite for a full academic year or longer
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication support to students—primarily in PreK settings
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans in accordance with school guidelines and student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and family members, to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Provide both direct and consultative services across school sites as needed
