Desired Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or is a Clinical Fellow (CF) seeking experience in schools
- Experience supporting students in an educational environment; familiarity with SEIS and California Medicaid (Paradigm) systems is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred, though monolingual candidates are also welcomed
- Ability to manage caseloads of varying severity levels and comfort with itinerant assignments
- COC (Certificate of Clearance) required or in progress
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to build relationships with staff, caregivers, and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to PreK students, as well as broader caseloads, as assigned
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with special education teams to create engaging, evidence-based intervention plans
- Document services and maintain records using SEIS and related electronic platforms
- Utilize or become adept with AAC devices and technology used in therapy sessions
