School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Escondido, California

Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Organized, flexible, and committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Create and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to carry out effective interventions
- Deliver direct therapy services that foster student confidence and achievement
- Maintain thorough records in line with district and legal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school activities
