School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Marcos, California

Desired Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders • Current SLP licensure in California (or eligibility upon hire) • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families • Compassion and flexibility to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges • Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate documentation • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service professionals to foster student success • Offer support and resources to families and school staff regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to overall team goals and school initiatives
