Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) and valid California licensure (COC required)
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency strongly preferred; monolingual candidates considered
  • Prior experience in school settings, SEIS systems, and CA Medicaid (Paradigm) experience preferred
  • Willingness to work onsite, and commit to a full-year or longer
  • Interest in working with PreK students; flexibility for an itinerant schedule
  • Familiarity with AAC devices and experience supporting students with mild to moderate and some severe communication needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite speech-language assessments and deliver interventions
  • Serve PreK students and collaborate with school staff & families
  • Complete documentation, including Medicaid billing and SEIS record keeping
  • Support students’ use of AAC devices as appropriate
  • Adapt services for a variety of educational settings within the district
