Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Indio, CA

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation outcomes
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions addressing targeted speech and language goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, updating plans as needed
- Partner effectively with a collaborative multidisciplinary team, including teachers and specialists, for coordinated care
- Offer education and guidance to families, involving them in the therapy process and supporting progress at home
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required
- Active, current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged children preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
To be eligible, candidates must hold an active license approved by the respective State Board of Speech Language Pathology and a Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
