Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Independence, MO

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- State licensure or ability to obtain Missouri SLP license
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures and related documentation
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct therapy and monitor student progress
- Consult with educators and caregivers to support student success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required by the district
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as a valued team member
