Pediatric SLP in Kansas City, MO
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant Kansas City, MO area. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to students with a mixed caseload of mild to severe needs
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting assessments, monitoring student progress, and generating detailed documentation
- Providing teletherapy services as needed and adapting to various learning modalities
- Engaging in creative interventions that promote student participation and progress
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Active SLP license and certification (CCC or eligible for CFY)
- Prior experience in school settings (SLP - School, SLP - Pediatrics) and comfort with school-age populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong ability to work independently while supporting two educational sites
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassion, flexibility, and strong organizational skills
You’ll enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule, working 8 hours each day, and will be compensated between $45 and $55 per hour, depending on experience.
