The position offers exposure to a diverse pediatric caseload and welcomes candidates with varying levels of experience, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status.
- State licensure for speech-language pathology or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience supporting pediatric clients in educational or healthcare settings.
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms for remote services.
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based SLP practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans rooted in IEP goals.
- Utilize teletherapy as well as in-person modalities to meet student needs.
- Accurately document progress, maintain timely records, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to ensure comprehensive support.
- Travel between multiple school sites as required (with paid travel time).
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on student success.
- Receive guidance and mentorship, especially for clinicians completing their CFY.
