Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid license to practice as an SLP in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Team-oriented attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document all required data
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Monitor, evaluate, and adjust therapy plans to best serve individual students
- Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and school-based support teams
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
