Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current, active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school setting preferred, though exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Eligibility for travel roles, including weekly tax-free stipends for meals and housing
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams as needed
For those eligible, compensation reflects both district and personal experience, with hourly rates ranging from $43.52 - $50.77. Travel professionals enjoy additional weekly tax-free stipends to help cover meals and housing expenses.
