Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in SLP
- Previous experience in school environments preferred
- Familiarity with supporting both primary and elementary age groups
- Proficiency with conducting speech-language evaluations and ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when assigned
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise assigned SLPAs while maintaining compliance with district and state standards
- Conduct detailed speech-language evaluations for students
- Lead, organize, and facilitate ARD meetings focusing on students’ speech-language needs and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Coordinate with educational teams and families to provide updates and recommendations
- No direct therapy provision required—focus will be on evaluation, supervision, and collaboration
