Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience in a school setting strongly recommended
- Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Proficient in conducting speech-language evaluations
- Comfortable facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee SLPAs to ensure compliance and quality of student services
- Complete timely and thorough speech-language evaluations
- Lead and document ARD meetings as assigned
- Collaborate with campus administrators, educators, and families to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records and assist in program compliance
- Operate exclusively in evaluation, supervision, and facilitation capacities (no direct therapy required)
