This contract opportunity runs from early August 2026 through early June 2027, offering a dynamic 40-hour work week in a collaborative educational environment. As an onsite professional, you’ll mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), drive critical evaluations, and play an integral part in the ARD process—without a therapy caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Competence supervising and supporting SLPAs
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Skilled in leading ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise SLPAs and ensure compliance with clinical and educational standards
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations for students at both primary and elementary campuses
- Prepare and facilitate ARD meetings to help tailor educational plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation related to evaluations and meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to advocate for student needs
