Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hockessin, DE

This contract role based near Hockessin, DE, runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027 and offers schedule flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available (up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday).
In this position, you will provide speech and language therapy both onsite at a local school and to a select group of medically homebound students within the district. Adaptability and a collaborative approach are key, as caseloads may fluctuate during the school year and school placement for onsite work will be determined prior to assignment. Your expertise will help create supportive learning environments and foster communication development for students across a diverse district.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware SLP license (required at time of application)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings
- Understanding of IEP process and compliance
- Effective communication skills and a team-player mindset
- Ability to work independently with homebound students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and home-based speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
