K-5 Certified School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hartford, Connecticut

Situated near Hartford, CT, this full-time contract opportunity spans from April 15th through June 11th, providing essential support to students in grades 6 through 8. This role is ideal for professionals who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and are committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC’s required
- Experience working with students in grades 6–8; background with K–5 or 9–12 a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to assess and deliver therapy in a school-based setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans addressing students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations
- Maintain thorough, compliant records of student progress and services
- Support classroom teachers with strategies for language development and integration
