The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide essential evaluation, therapy, and consultation services to middle school students, ensuring that each individual receives the support needed for academic and social success. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state SLP licensure and certification
- Experience working with students in grades K-12; strong preference for grades 6-8
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of best practices and current methodologies in speech-language services within schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for middle school students
- Provide direct therapy to individuals and small groups based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student support
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services, progress, and assessment results
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student planning sessions
