Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP certification with CCC’s required
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those in grades 6-8
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a range of developmental levels (K-12 background helpful)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Current knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy for students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and support staff
- Deliver evidence-based direct therapy and consultation services to students in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and communication goals
- Keep accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and required reports
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and program planning as needed
