Qualifications and Experience:
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology with ASHA CCC’s
- Certification suitable for work in educational environments (K-12 preferred)
- Previous experience delivering speech and language services to middle school students (grades 6-8)
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities when working with educators, families, and support staff
- Comfort with assessment and treatment planning for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed language, speech, and communication assessments for identified students in grades 6-8
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support each student’s needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in classroom and small group settings
- Consult with teachers and families to create supportive strategies and share student progress
- Prepare required documentation and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
