Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
- Prior experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Skilled in assessments, developing IEPs, and providing direct therapy
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Work collaboratively with educational staff to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in relevant meetings and collaborate with family members regarding student progress
