Qualifications/Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with pediatric populations, from early childhood through adolescence
- Strong background in school-based settings or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver evidence-based therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide direct and consultative services, advocating for student inclusion and success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightful recommendations for student growth
