Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP or CFY with supervision)
- Experience evaluating and treating pediatric populations, including Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Familiarity with early childhood and school-aged intervention strategies
- Background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans and set achievable goals for students
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, across various grade levels
- Maintain accurate student records and progress notes
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input
- Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy
