Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure or eligibility in Virginia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CFY)
- Experience (or strong desire) to work with elementary-aged students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and families
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services on campus
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with a dedicated support team to foster student growth
- Engage in parent and team meetings to discuss progress and strategies
