This role spans from August to early June and supports 2-3 schools, serving approximately 40 students. In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in helping young learners develop vital communication skills, collaborating closely with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Accepted credentials include SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Adaptability to serve students across multiple school sites

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with local and federal regulations
  • Provide direct and consultative services, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Travel between assigned schools as scheduled
