Speech Language Pathologist in Hampton, VA

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt to varying student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Provide therapy services in both individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with best practices
