What You’ll Bring:
- Active license or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, or relevant school-based experience welcomed
- Teletherapy skills for SLPs who prefer or require remote assignments
- Experience in school-based or healthcare environments supporting pediatric populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Collaborative approach to supporting IEP development and implementation
- Dedication to professional growth and student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, swallowing, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement student-specific treatment plans, individually or in groups
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff
- Provide services via teletherapy or in person, based on assignment requirements
- Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to ongoing program improvement
- Support students in achieving academic and social goals through evidence-based interventions
